Pollilo Island is located officially the Municipality of Polillo, (Tagalog: Bayan ng Polillo), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. It is located on the southern part of the eponymous Polillo Island fronting the Philippine Sea and its jurisdiction also includes Balesin Island in Lamon Bay

We went there before the school year starts. Actually it was really a great place to unwind. It could also be the place where you could spend time with your family and friends. The place is so great that it could also be the perfect place for the brokenhearted to moved on.

The water is so crystal clear. The ambiance was so peaceful. The people living in that community were really hospitable. The food that we ate were really delicious and going to Pollilo Island will
be your greatest decision ever.

Getting to Polillo from Manila takes around six hours of travel by land and by sea. The first segment of the trip involves travelling to Ungos Port in Real, Quezon via the Pililla-Famy-Real road. The recently opened Marikina-Infanta Highway is also another route to Ungos Port. Raymond Bus with its terminal located in Legarda, Manila, has regular scheduled trips to Real, Quezon. There are passenger ferries that depart from Dinahican Port in Infanta to Barangay Macnit in Polillo. There are also boat trips to Balesin Island and Polillo from Atimonan’s port.

This 64.24 kilometer Apayao-Ilocos Norte road project from Kabugao passing through Calanasan then to the municipality of Solsona in Ilocos Norte is the shortest way from Apayao, to Laoag City as it will no longer pass through Cagayan Valley.

This is the view along the road of Calanasan Apayao. Mountains are so high that it can reach up to the sky. It was called “Sea of Clouds” because there are so many clouds and it seems like a huge sea.

Going to a place like this is not easy like what you think. It takes lot of courage and you need to be brave because the road that you will take is dangerous. Additional if you are going here make sure you need to pack a lot of patience. But if you are really an adventurous people Apayao is the place suited for you.
